The final planning decision was preceded by a variety of utilization considerations, which included the redevelopment of the entire property. For reasons of historic preservation and economic considerations, the variant of redevelopment and partial expansion favored by us was finally pursued. The retail space on the first floor will be moderately enlarged. The apartments on the upper floors will be extended and will have large terraces. The street façade will be renovated according to the photographically documented original condition of 1935.In the courtyard area, additions will be erected in wood post and beam construction, which deliberately detach themselves from the old building in terms of design and are recognizable as a new addition.
